Geneva may be cooling down, but a warming Spanish breeze has found its way into the Geneva Free Ports, bringing with it a new arrival of wines from the Spanish icon, Vega Sicilia.
Autumn is one of our busiest seasons inside our 1275 storage warehouse. Along with spring, it’s when we allow our clients’ wines to travel under tightly monitored conditions. Movements are kept to an absolute minimum and timed precisely to coincide with ideal temperatures, ensuring every bottle’s integrity from the estate to our vault, and onwards to our clients’ cellars.
Care
1275 handles every bottle’s journey with the utmost care. We work exclusively with trusted, temperature-controlled transport partners, and coordinate directly with the estates to equip every single shipment with our own GPS trackers and sensors. These ensure and document our complete end-to-end traceability from vineyards to the 1275 chamber.
Tech
Every single inbound case is fitted with one of our NFC tags. Its chips bear credit card security levels and contain unique digital passports linked to the full traceability records – including GPS routes, temperature & humidity data. All this information make up our proprietary IoBTM (Internet of BottlesTM) platform, which brings our clients full peace of mind on the indisputable provenance and perfect standing of their cherished assets. Cases are then assigned to their locations within our warehousing system, enabling clients to view and pinpoint their own cases quietly resting with us, and ageing gracefully under perfect 12°C and 75% RH conditions.
